Fast Company, the magazine that has done more to promote innovation and entrepreneurship than almost any other business publication, has been put up for sale by its owner, according to a post by editor-in-chief John Byrne in the FC Now weblog. Inc. magazine is also up for sale.
There's no question that the FC staff has put a lot of passion into this extraordinary business magazine over the years. As you can tell by the tone of John's post, he and his staff aren't ready to give up the fight yet. They remain firmly committed to putting out a world-class business magazine.
Clearly, this is a defining moment for Fast Company. I hope that it finds a worthy buyer who will take it to the next level of relevance for entrepreneurs and innovators everywhere. Good luck to everyone on the FC team! |
